The Waterloo Bucks routed the Kalamazoo Growlers 11-1 on Sunday, led by an explosion of offensive, combined with a dominant pitching performance by starter Jordan Desguin.
Desguin was sensational, tossing seven shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out a stellar ten batters. The right-hander from Florida Gulf Coast improved to 1-1 on the year and through two starts has been a pleasant addition to the Bucks pitching staff, holding a 1.38 ERA with 14 strikeouts over 13 innings.
The Bucks will look for the series sweep over Kalamazoo as first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
