Balanced by starter Michael Gomez's tremendous start, the Express coasted to a 11-3 win over the Bucks, as Eau Claire took home both Pitcher and Player of the Night, paced by left fielder Joe Gillette's terrific offensive display.

Gillette powered the Express lineup to their 12th win, going 2-for-5 at the plate, marked by a three-run homer in the 5th inning. The freshman from Oregon State has started off the year slow with a .154 average, but may have ignited a turn around to his fortunes at the dish with tonight's performance.

The Express continue their home stand, hosting the Bucks again tomorrow with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM.
