The Eau Claire Express played spoiler tonight, routing the Waterloo Bucks at home, paced behind a dazzling performance by their starter Michael Gomez. 

A freshman from Cal Poly, the right-hander was lights out off the mound, going six innings, surrendering no runs on three hits and striking out four. Gomez improved to 2-0 on the season, as he has struck out six batters through seven total innings of work.

The Express will look to complete the series sweep over Waterloo as they face off again tomorrow at 6:35 PM.
