The Kenosha Kingfish ended their six-game skid, defeating the Mallards at home 5-2, carried by a stellar pitching performance by their ace Josh Serio, winning his second Pitcher of the Night.
Serio consistently has shown that he is one of the premier pitchers in the Northwoods League and tossed 7 1/3 innings, giving up two hits and no runs, while striking out nine batters. The sophomore from UW-Parkside continues to lead the league in several pitching categories, owning the league-best wins (5), strikeouts (43) and is third in ERA (1.01) all over 35 1/3 innings of work.
Kenosha will look to take the series against Madison, hosting the series finale at 7:05 PM.
