The Alexandria Blue Anchors continue their surprising start to the new half, as they grinded out a pitching duel victory over St. Cloud, winning 1-0, backed by their starter Zach Muckenhirn. 

Muckenhirn was outstanding tonight, throwing eight shutout innings, dominating the North-leading Rox lineup, winning his first contest of the season. The sophomore from North Dakota has been lights out lately, as he has held teams scoreless through his last 15 innings of work. Muckenhirn owns a 1.77 ERA, striking out a total 24 batters through 25 1/3 innings of work.

The Blue Anchors look to build upon their great start to the second half as they face off against St. Cloud again at 7:05 PM.
