St. Cloud took game one of their Saturday doubleheader against Rochester, taking down the Honkers 10-2, propelled behind a terrific performance at the plate by their infielder Joe Tietjen. 

Tietjen swung the bat well in the opener, going 2-for-4, slugging his third home run and finishing with four RBIs. The sophomore from UNC-Asheville has given a consistent effort amongst the Rox lineup, owning a .258 batting average, .337 on-base percentage, and totaling 16 RBIs and has scored 24 times. 

The Rox continue their battle with Rochester, as the two teams play again tomorrow at 1:05 PM.
