The Bombers fell short to La Crosse 11-5 on Wednesday, resulting in the series sweep, however Battle Creek received a stellar performance with the bat from their 1st baseman Dre Gleason.

Gleason was seemingly the only Bombers batter to make an impact, going 3-for-4 with a three-run home run in the 2nd inning; he would later add a single in the 9th to finish with four RBIs on the night. The sophomore from Austin Peay has begun to pick it up at the dish, owning a .216 batting average, while knocking in 14 RBIs, and totaling 24 hits on the season.

Gleason and the Bombers will look to work out of the hole they have placed themselves in as they host the Woodchucks for a new series at 7:05 PM.
