The Mallards took both of their Friday games against Lakeshore, winning the first game 6-5, then the second game 6-2. Madison's catcher Jonathan Quintana was sensational at the plate in the doubleheader, pacing the offense and earning his first Player of the Night in 2015.
Quintana enjoyed a solid game one, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, while scoring twice. In the second game, he recorded two walks and scored once. The sophomore from Barry University has been a consistent bat in the Madison lineup, owning a .247 batting average, .404 on-base percentage, while recording 3 home runs and 12 RBIs.
Quintana and the Mallards will look to extend their win streak to four games as they travel to Battle Creek for a two-game series beginning at 7:05 PM.
