The Duluth Huskies win-streak was cut short at six game, as Mankato used a six run 7th inning to defeat the Huskies 6-5. However Huskies' starter Landon Smith was not to blame, as the right-hander was terrific in his performance.

Smith completely dominated the MoonDog lineup in just his second start of the year, going six innings, allowing no runs and just two hits, while striking out a trio of batters, but factored a no-decision as the bullpen lost the game in late-innings. The junior from Montevallo has kept a steady pace throughout his 2015 campaign, holding a 2.16 ERA and striking out 9 batters through 16 2/3 innings of work.

Duluth travels to Waterloo for the final series before the All-Star break, as both teams face off at 5:05 PM.
