Eau Claire picked up their ninth win of the second half, dismantling the Honkers 7-3 on the road, carried by a commanding performance off the mound from their starter Erich Uelmen. 

Uelmen was instrumental in the Express victory, throwing seven scoreless innings, scattering just three hits while striking out a season-high nine batters. The Cal Poly freshman has been a bright spot amongst the Express rotation, owning a 3-1 record with a solid 2.12 ERA, striking out 29 batters over 29 2/3 innings of work. 

The Express seek the series sweep, as they take on Rochester at 7:05 PM at Mayo Field.
