The North-leading Rox continue to push through the North, sweeping the Eau Claire Express by way of a shutout, winning 6-0, as a St. Cloud starter earned Pitcher of the Night for the second straight game.

Today it was Lucas Gilbreath's turn to throw a gem, as the lefty tossed seven scoreless innings, limiting the Express lineup to just one hit, walking three and striking out five, as he boosted his record to a dazzling 4-0. The freshman from Minnesota has been outstanding through the month of July, allowing just two runs over 22 innings of work, striking out 21 batters. Gilbreath impressively owns a 2.08 ERA, holding opposing batters to a measly .180 batting average.

St. Cloud will look to build upon their divisional lead, travelling to Thunder Bay for a two-game series, first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM.
