St. Cloud improved to 18-6 in the second half, scoring five runs in the 9th inning to comeback and steal game one of their series against the host Border Cats, however starter Sheldon Miks became the third consecutive Rox starter to earn Pitcher of the Night with his strong performance in a no decision. 

Miks was terrific off the mound tonight, throwing six innings, allowing a run, none earned, while striking out seven batters. The big lefty from St. Cloud State continues to be a dominant arm amongst arguably the Northwoods League's best starting rotation, owning a 4-1 record, 3.26 ERA, striking out 35 batters through 41 1/3 innings. 

The Rox will look to add to their win streak, facing off in Thunder Bay again at 1:35 PM.
