Alexandria broke out of their short slump Friday night, as they split their series against the Border Cats, winning 8-3, as they were led by their terrific new addition Trooper Reynolds.

Reynolds shined tonight in the win, going 4-for-5 with a pair of dingers and drove in four RBIs, as the Blue Anchors improved to 14-15 for the second half. The junior from Dallas Baptist has arguably been the best hitter in the league these past couple weeks, owning a .429 batting average, hitting 6 home runs and 12 RBIs, while collecting 21 hits. Reynolds has played a significant role since joining the team, as he has recorded at least one base hit in all 13 games played with Alexandria.

Alexandria will look to make some noise as the 2015 season comes to an end, as they host Waterloo for a two game series beginning at 5:05 PM.
