The Rochester Honkers took care of the Duluth Huskies in their series opener, winning 9-0 as they were backed by a dazzling performance by their starter Ricky Delgado.

Taking the mound for his first start of the year, Delgado shut out the Duluth lineup over seven innings of work, giving up just four hits and struck out a batter. The sophomore from San Joaquin Delta C.C. typically has provided consistent strong outings out of the bullpen, but earned his third victory of the season, as he owns a 2.54 ERA, holding opposing batters to a measly .202 batting average.

Rochester will look to improve their positioning for the 2015 playoffs, hosting Duluth for the Sunday matinee at 1:05 PM.
