Monday's tripleheader between the Woodchucks and Rafters involved in some solid pitching performances over the duration of the day, however it was Wisconsin Rapids outfielder Jake Sandlin's offensive display which earned him Player of the Night for the third time this season.
Sandlin shined as his team took two of the three games, totaling six hits on the night, highlighted with four in the second game, and extending his hit streak to nine games. The junior from Southern Mississippi has been one of the more prominent hitters in the South Division all season, owning a .299 batting average with 5 home runs and driving in 36 RBIs, leading the Rafters with 69 hits.
The Rafters face off against Wisconsin again, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM.
