The Alexandria Blue Anchors split their Friday doubleheader against Eau Claire, taking game one 8-0, while faltering in the nightcap 9-4, however their outfielder Ricky Sanchez was terrific offensively in both contests, earning his second Player of the Night for 2015.

Sanchez shined in game one, going 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and driving in four RBIs, while recording two hits and an RBI in game two. The junior who attends Notre Dame has been known as one of the most feared hitters in the entire league, and is the spark of the vaunted Alexandria offense, leading the team in batting average (.335), home runs (10), RBIs (40), and runs scored (39).

The Blue Anchors will complete their 2015 season with a two-game home stand against Rochester, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM.
