In a terrific series to finish off 2015, the South Champion Kenosha Kingfish fell to the second half North Champion St. Cloud Rox 2-0 in the series opener, however the Kingfish received a stellar pitching performance from their starter David Meade.

Meade provided a commanding start for his team, throwing a complete game of eight innings, allowing a pair of runs (none earned) on four hits and struck out six, however received the loss as his team's offense did not supply enough run support in the opener. After being acquired right before the All-Star break, the sophomore from Illinois State has served the Kingfish well, owning a 1-1 record, 2.03 ERA and has struck out 19 batters through 17 2/3 innings of work.

The Kingfish will look to halve their final regular season contest of 2015, facing off against St. Cloud again tomorrow at 7:05 PM.
