Duo of right handers ready to lead Bullfrogs pitching staff
Green Bay, Wis. – Right handed pitchers Luke Lind (North Dakota State) and Austin Hancock (Lenoir-Rhyne University) will return to the Bullfrogs for the 2016 season. Both Lind and Hancock worked as starters in 2015 and made a strong impact on the Bullfrogs pitching staff.
Lind made seven appearances for the Bullfrogs in 2015, with four of those appearances being starts. He collected an impressive 4-1 record on the season good for the third most wins on the team. He also compiled 32 strikeouts to just eight walks in 2015.
Hancock joined the Bullfrogs in late July of the 2015 season making three appearances and two starts for the Bullfrogs prior to the end of the 2015 season. He posted an impressive 0.79 ERA for the Bullfrogs in 2015, which was the best ERA of any Bullfrogs starting pitcher. Hancock is expected to play a major role on a successful Bullfrogs pitching staff in 2016.
“We are extremely excited to bring both Luke and Austin back for 2016,” said Bullfrogs General Manager Derek McCarty. “Both have proven that they can throw strikes, and they have also proven to be great teammates and great in the community.”
