Wausau, WIS –The Wisconsin Woodchucks are announcing the addition of three players from the University of Notre Dame. Freshman, Cole Daily (INF) and Connor Hock (RHP) and sophomore, Evy Ruibal (RHP) will be joining the team in the 2016 season.

INF – Cole Daily, 6’0”, 180 Ibs, (L/R) Freshman, University of Notre Dame

Daily is originally from Springfield, IL and graduated from Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin High School. He was a four year letter winner for baseball at Springfield High.  Daily was named 2nd best shortstop in Illinois and 38th best nationally by Perfect Game.  He was also named the 10th best overall player in Illinois. In 2016, his batting average was .310, had 6 RBIs, and an OB percentage of .412. 

RHP – Connor Hock, 6’3”, 186 Ibs, (R/R) Freshman, University of Notre Dame

Connor Hock’s hometown is Suamico, WI and attended Bay Port High School.  He was a four year letter winner for baseball at Bay Port High School.  He was ranked 3rd RHP in Wisconsin and ranked 5th player overall by Perfect Game.  Hock earned high honorable mention for Perfect Game Preseason Senior High School All-American and Central Region All High School Senior.  He finished out his high school career with a 19-1 record and 0.77 ERA in 136.1 IP. 

RHP – Evy Ruibal, 6’4”, 223 Ibs, (R/R) Sophomore, University of Notre Dame

Ruibal is from Milburn, NJ and attended Milburn High School.  During his freshman year at Notre Dame he was named the One-Time Monogram Winner. Ruibal made 22 appearances including one start during his rookie campaign.  He posted a 0-3 record and 4.58 ERA over 35.1 innings of work and a batting average of .254.  Ruibal was a three year letter winner for baseball at Milburn High School and earned the 114th best RHP by Perfect Game.
