Wausau, WIS –The Wisconsin Woodchucks are announcing the addition of two outstanding players for the 2016 season. Junior, Jeff Bohling (OF) at Gonzaga University and sophomore, Chad Fleischman (INF/RHP) at Ranger College will be joining the Woodchucks in the upcoming season.
OF – Jeff Bohling, 5'10", 185 lbs, (R/R) Junior, Gonzaga University
Bohling is originally from Bellevue, WA and attended Eastside Catholic High School. He played baseball for three years at the shortstop position for the Crusaders. Bohling earned All-League honors all three years; while having a batting average of .405 as a sophomore. In 2016, with the Zags he had a batting average of .354, 31 RBIs, and .408 OBP.
INF/RHP – Chad Fleischman, 6'3", 210 Ibs, (R/R) Sophomore, Ranger College
Fleischman is originally from St. Paul, MN and attended Cretin-Derham High School. During his senior year, he compiled a 5-2 record with a 1.81 ERA and 47 strikeouts playing under coach Paul Weinberg. In 2015 at Ranger College, he had 7 saves, a batting average of .414, 11 RBIs, and 16 runs. Fleischman has recently signed for next year with Lamar University Cardinals in Beaumont, TX.
