Promotion to feature prize package giveaways in Wisconsin Markets

Rochester, Minn. – The Northwoods League announced a new partnership today with Edvest to help promote 529 Day in Wisconsin.

What is 529 Day? May 29th is National 529 College Savings Day! A day created to raise awareness of the costs of a higher education, and to educate families that they shouldn’t keep putting off making a plan to save for it.

“We are excited to partner with the Northwoods League to raise awareness about National 529 Day – a day to take action and start saving for college,” said James DiUlio, director of the Wisconsin 529 College Savings Plan. “This partnership offers Wisconsin children the opportunity to jumpstart their college savings, while having a little fun and watching some baseball along the way.”

“The Northwoods League is very excited to be associated with this unique promotional opportunity with a high-profile Wisconsin brand,” said Northwoods League President, Gary Hoover. “This partnership gives Edvest a fun way to promote saving for college with our teams in Wisconsin.”

The main part of the partnership is the Edvest Baseball Bash Giveaway but Edvest will be seen and heard throughout the Northwoods League in Wisconsin during the summer. In-park PA announcements along with radio and NWL video broadcasts on Stretch Internet and FSN Wisconsin will showcase Edvest.
