BISMARCK, ND – Today, the Bismarck Larks and KFYR, are launching the final round of their mascot naming contest, where fans can vote on the four finalists. Fans just need to log on to KFYR’s webpage and click on the promotions tab, where they can vote on the four finalists.

The final four names were selected among over 400 submissions, who participated in the first round of the team’s mascot naming contest.
The winning name will be announced on March 29 at a hot stove event taking place at the Kirkwood Mall starting at 5:30 pm, where the team’s mascot will finally be revealed. Also, 5 time MLB All-Star and 1991 World Series MVP Jack Morris will also be making a guest appearance.
This event is going to be free for the public, and everybody that votes on a finalist and purchases a Scheels 7-Game Pack, will have the opportunity to be the first to meet and get an autograph from Jack Morris and the team’s new mascot. Also, the person who submitted the final winning name will win 2 Scheels 7-Game Packs for the Larks Inaugural season.
The winning submission will also get to throw out the first pitch with the team’s new mascot on Friday June 2nd, where the Larks will take on the Thunder Bay Border Cats. The game will start at 7:35 pm at Dakota Community Bank and Trust Field.
