Nick Parr and Ben Hart heading to Green Bay

Green Bay, Wis – The Green Bay Bullfrogs have announced the signings of two players from Oakland University to the 2017 season roster, Nick Parr and Ben Hart.

Nick Parr, a 6’3”, 202-pound right handed pitcher from Powell, Ohio, is underway with his sophomore season at Oakland University. Parr is 1-1 on the year after striking out seven on his way to his first career win against Lipscomb University. During his freshman year on the mound, Parr posted a 3.57 ERA and nine strikeouts in thirteen appearances for Oakland.

Parr will be joined by fellow Golden Grizzly, Ben Hart, a 5’11”, 209-pound infielder from Rochester Hills, Michigan. Hart, a junior, has started every game at third base this season. Last season, Hart was named to the Second Team All-Horizon League. During conference play, Hart posted a .323 batting average and ended the 2016 campaign with a 13-game hitting streak and a 15-game on base streak.

The Bullfrogs will open their season at home Tuesday, May 30 at 6:35 p.m. against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
