(Rochester Minn.) – The Rochester Honkers announced today the signing of two North Park University players to temporary contracts for the 2017 season.
Cam Adams in a 5-foot-10, 205-pound redshirt junior catcher from Johnsburg, Illinois. He is currently hitting .238 with six RBIs and five doubles. Adams has started 13 games for the 8-13 North Park Vikings. Last year, Adams hit .275 with five doubles and 16 RBIs.
James Pagni is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior left handed pitcher from Elmhurst, Illinois. He is currently 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA. Pagni has appeared in 2 games, both starts, pitching only 4.0 innings and striking out 3. As a sophomore, Pagni posted a 1-2 record with a 5.40 ERA. He appeared in nine games, starting three, pitching 25.0 innings and striking out 19.
The Rochester Honkers 24th season begins on Tuesday, May 30th when the team hosts the Mankato Moondogs in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. The NEW 5-Game Packs are available now!
