BISMARCK, ND – Three players from No. 2 (NAIA) ranked Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL have signed to play for the Bismarck Larks. Pitchers Tyler Tungate and Junior Ramirez, along with infielder Austin Paschke will be on the roster for the team’s inaugural season.

Tyler Tungate is a junior right handed pitcher from Downey, CA. Tyler has a 7-0 pitching record this season, and he threw 7 strikeouts versus Bethel University on April 14. He previously attended Golden West College before transferring over to Faulkner University.

Junior Ramirez is a junior right handed pitcher from Queens, NY. Ramirez in his best performance of the season, threw 5 strikeouts in three innings, and only gave up 4 hits and 3 runs at 14 at bats versus Point University. Previously, Ramirez attended Indian Hills Community College before playing for Faulkner.

Infielder Austin Paschke is a junior from Glendale, AZ. Austin has batted in 4 home runs and 25 RBI’s in 2017.  His best performance was against Bethel University on April 14, where he hit a 3 run home run. Paschke is a transfer from student from Yavapai College.

The Faulkner University Eagles are 39-8 overall, and are first in SSAC conference play with a 14-4 record. They are also ranked No. 2 nationally in the NAIA rankings.
