The Green Bay Bullfrogs Sign Willie Bourbon and Grant Frazer

The Bullfrogs are adding depth to the infield with the signings of sophomore Willie Bourbon from Northwestern University and freshman Grant Frazer of Central Michigan University.

Bourbon, a 6’1”, 195-pound infielder from Riverwoods, Illinois, will join the Bullfrogs after his second season with the Northwestern Wildcats. Last season for the Wildcats, Bourbon was a consistent starter and hit .254 on the year. He finished the season with 22 runs and 28 RBIs. In high school, Bourbon was awarded All-State honors as a senior and was named an honorable mention for the All-American selection as well.

In 2017, Bourbon has posted 22 hits with twelve RBIs while starting in all but six games that he has played in.

Frazer, a 6’0”, 170-pound shortstop from Oconto, Wisconsin, will travel to Green Bay after his first season at Central Michigan. At Oconto high school, Frazer holds the school record for most wins in a season. At Central Michigan, Frazer is off to a great start. In fourteen games, the freshman has posted a .320 batting average with eight hits and four RBIs.

The Bullfrogs will open their season at home Tuesday, May 30 at 6:35 p.m. against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Group tickets and single game tickets are on sale now.
