Honkers Add Three Oregon Ducks to Roster.

(Rochester Minn.) –  The Rochester Honkers have announced the signing of Zack Noll, Ray Soderman, and Taylor Adams from the University of Oregon for the 2018 season.

Noll, a 6-foot-6 sophomore pitcher, made seven appearances including four starts for the Ducks during the 2017 season. The 190 pound lefty went 2-2 with a 6.11 ERA over 17 2/3 innings. He struck out 24 and held opposing batters to a .197 average. A native of Temecula, Calif., Noll attended Great Oak High School where he set the school record for career strikeouts. Over his high school career he compiled a 19-7 record with a 1.84 ERA.

Soderman is a junior catcher and a native of Danville, Calif. Out of high school, he attended junior college at the College of San Mateo. The 6-foot-1 185 pounder was a first-team All-Conference selection as a sophomore. He hit .285 while blasting two home runs and 24 RBIs. As a freshman Soderman hit .259 and a .323 on-base percentage. A two-year letterman at San Ramon Valley High School, he hit .469 with four doubles and 20 RBIs helping San Ramon Valley to a CIF North Coast Section quarterfinal appearance as a senior.

Adams, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior outfielder, started his colligate career at Tacoma Community College where he played with future Honker teammate Alex McGarry from Oregon State. Over his two seasons at Tacoma CC he hit .323 with four home runs and 57 RBIs. He ended his sophomore season on a nine game hitting streak and received second-team All-Conference honors. Adams attended Timberline High School in his hometown of Lacey, Wash. He was a four-year letterman and earned second-team All-State as a senior. In the summer of 2017 Adams played summer ball for the Port Angeles Lefties of the West Coast League. He hit .236 in 35 games with two home runs and 12 RBIs.

Oregon begins their 2018 season in Las Vegas, Nev. on Feb. 16th playing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday against Loyola Marymount, UNLV and Indiana State.
