Green Bay, Wis – A pair of student-athletes from the West Coast, venture east to Titletown this summer, as the Green Bay Bullfrogs have officially announced the signings of University of San Diego redshirt freshman, right-handed pitcher, Travis Kuhn and UC Irvine sophomore infielder, Adrian Damla.

Kuhn, a 6-1 righty from Norco, Ca., enters his first season of eligibility for the Toreros, after a dominant high school career on the bump. Kuhn posted a 6-3 record with a 2.94 ERA in his senior year at Norco High School, tallying 65 strikeouts in 64 1/3 innings, en route to being named his team’s MVP. Kuhn is familiar with collegiate summer baseball, as he spent the summer after high school with the Moose Jaw Miller Express of the Western Major Baseball League (WMBL). He was a perfect six-for-six in save attempts with a 0.81 ERA and 29 strikeouts through 22 innings.

“I am very grateful for this great opportunity,” said Kuhn. “I am excited to be a part of such a great program and come June, I will be ready to dive in and have an electric season. I look forward to experiencing the great city of Green Bay and ultimately doing my part to come back with a ring.”

Damla, a 6-0 utility infielder and native of La Crescenta, Calif., comes off a productive freshman season in 2017 with the Anteaters. Damla played in 50 games for UC Irvine with 37 starts, compiling a .255 average with 36 total hits, eight doubles and 12 RBIs. He also made contributions on the base paths with 24 runs scored and a trio of stolen bases.
