RHP | Mason Shinabery | R/R | 6’2” | Decatur. IN

As a Freshman Mason Shinabery earned All-Conference honors for the MCC Crossroads Conference as a member of the Huntington Foresters in 2017. The righty starter for the Foresters helped the team win the 2017 Crossroads League championship. He started 10 games with a team low 2.82 ERA. He also tossed two complete games, and notched two shutouts as well. Shinabery returns to the Foresters as one of the most experienced and talented starters and has the potential to emerge as the teams ace this season. Coming into his freshman season Shinabery used a fastball in the high 80’s and two off speed pitches to complete his arsenal.

 LHP | Derek Carr | L/L | 6’1” | Newark, OH

Carr had limited experience on the field as a freshman and is looking to expand his role in his sophomore season at Ohio University. So far in 2018 he has made two relief appearances, giving up three earned runs. As a freshman he made just three appearances including a three strikeout performance against Butler over 2.1 innings in his career debut. While in High School Carr played for the 17u Ohio Elite club baseball team. He lists New York Mets Right-Hander as his favorite professional athlete with the Kansas City Royals as his favorite team.
