Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have added two quality hitters to the 2019 roster as Austin Murr (Des Moines Area CC) and Dalton Wingo (Central Florida) will call Lakeshore home for the summer.

Austin Murr (1B-OF/SO) brings NWL experience after playing 11 games for the La Crosse Loggers last summer, hitting .439 with 2 doubles and twelve RBI.  The left-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder from Stillwater, MN will complete his second season with Des Moines Area Community College before heading to North Carolina State next fall.  Last season for DMACC, Murr was an NJCAA All-Region First Team selection after hitting .470 with 5 home runs and 52 RBI.

Dalton Wingo (OF/SO) continues Lakeshore’s strong connection with the Central Florida Knights as he follows in the footsteps of former UCF Chinook players: Rylan Thomas, Matthew Mika, and Dallas Beaver.  Wingo played in 34 games as a freshman and pounded three home runs.  The corner outfielder from Plant City, FL has earned a regular spot in the Knight lineup this year after hitting .300 and leading the team in RBI in his first twelve games.

The 2019 season is presented by Port Washington State Bank with the home opener set for May 30th at 6:35pm against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Season and group tickets are currently on sale with single game tickets available for purchase on April 27.
