Field Manager for the Waterloo Bucks, Darell Handelsman, earned his 200th career win becoming the first manager ever to do so. The Kalamazoo Growlers come up on top sweeping the Kokomo Jackrabbits.

Kalamazoo 9, Kokomo 4

The Kalamazoo Growlers swept the Kokomo Jackrabbits defeating them in tonight’s matchup 9-4. Korbin Griffin (Ball State University) went 2-for-5 including a two-run double in the fifth and an RBI single in the eighth. Reagan Paulina (Wayne State University) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with an RBI single in the fifth and an RBI double in the eighth. Brodey Acres (Walsh University) was perfect at the plate going 1-for-1 scoring twice with one RBI. Luke Matthews (Palomar College) went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Jack Dupuis (Olivet Nazarene University) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Brendan Burch (Kalamazoo Valley Community College) earned the win throwing one inning allowing one hit, zero walks, and zero runs.

Battle Creek 15, Fond du Lac 7

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks came out hot collecting sixteen hits to take down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 15-7. Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) had a day at the plate going 2-for-3 scoring twice with an RBI single in the second and a two-run triple in the third. Mason Hamlin (University of Texas of the Permian Basin) was perfect at the plate going 4-for-4 scoring four times with one RBI. Cayden Wotipka (Lower Columbia) went 3-for-4 scoring three times with a triple and two RBI. Aidan Arbogast (Eastern Michigan University) went 1-for-2 with three RBI. Aidan Jolley (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Griffin Almond (Eastern New Mexico University) earned the win throwing four innings with two strikeouts allowing five hits, three walks, and three runs.

Kenosha 7, Traverse City 1

The Kenosha Kingfish scored four insurance runs in the ninth to take down the Traverse City Pit Spitters 7-1. Noah Jouras (Davidson College) went 2-for-5 including an RBI double in the sixth and an RBI single in the ninth. Karter Wong (California State University Northridge) went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Christopher Schuchart (Davidson College) went 1-for-3 with a triple. Brett Denby (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in the ninth. Hudson Calhoun (University of Mississippi) earned the win throwing six innings with ten strikeouts allowing two hits, one walk, and one run.

Lakeshore 3, Wausau 2

The Lakeshore Chinooks used a seventh-inning run to push through and beat the Wausau Woodchucks 3-2. Vidal Colon (University of Illinois at Chicago) went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Ty Wisdom (University of Kansas) went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and scored once. Daniel Harden (McClennan Community) went 1-for-4 with a double and scored once. Drew Berkland (University of Minnesota) went 1-for-2 drawing two walks, and two stolen bases, and scored once. Ryan Karst (Madison College) earned the win throwing two innings with three strikeouts allowing one hit, zero walks, and zero runs.

Madison 6, Wisconsin Rapids 2

The Madison Mallards score four runs in the ninth to take the lead and defeat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6-2. David Whittle (San Diego State University) knocked out a pinch-hit grand slam in the ninth. Charlie Marion (Madison College) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with a solo home run in the third. Miles Vandenheuvel (Eastern Arizona College) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the third. Holden Harris (Texas Christian University) earned the win throwing two innings with three strikeouts allowing one hit, zero walks, and zero runs.

La Crosse 1, Green Bay 0

The La Crosse Loggers shut out the Green Bay Rockers defeating them 1-0. Zach Wadas (Texas Christian University) went 1-for-4 with an RBI single in the eighth. Jack Collins (California State University Long Beach) went 1-for-3 with a double. Gable Mitchell (University of Iowa) went 1-for-2 scoring once and collecting one stolen base. Brayden Marx (University of Hawaii) earned the win throwing three innings with four strikeouts allowing two walks, zero hits, and zero runs.

Thunder Bay 9, Duluth 1

The Thunder Bay Border Cats ran up the score defeating the Duluth Huskies 9-1. Cole Ketzner (University of South Alabama) had a day at the plate going 2-for-3 with a bases-clearing double in the fourth and one stolen base. Kyle Morrison (Shelton State Community College (AL)) went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Lucas Terilli (Eastern New Mexico University) went 3-for-5 scoring three times tallying one RBI. Zane Skansi (Creighton University (NE)) went 2-for-3 scoring three times with a double and one RBI. Jack Pineau (Creighton University (NE)) earned his first win of the season throwing seven innings with eight strikeouts allowing four hits, one walk, and one run.

Bismarck 8, Minnesota 2

The Bismarck Larks take down the Minnesota Mud Puppies 8-2 in tonight’s matchup. Cj Richmond (Western Michigan University) went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the first and a two-run double in the seventh. Kyle Hvidsten (Iowa Western Community College) was perfect at the plate going 2-for-2 scoring once with two RBI. Theo Bryant lv (Tennessee Tech University) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with one RBI. (Tye Wood University of New Mexico)went 2-for-4 scoring three times. Corey Braun (University of Mississippi) earned his first win of the season throwing seven innings with eleven strikeouts allowing four hits, one walk, and one earned run. 

Rockford 7, Royal Oak 6

The Rockford Rivets scored an eighth-inning run to take down the Royal Oak Leprechauns 7-6. Tommy Townsend (Butler University) had a day at the plate going 3-for-4 scoring once with a pair of doubles and collecting four RBI. Kyle Schupmann (University of Cincinnati) went 3-for-4 scoring three times with a pair of doubles, a triple, and one RBI. Nick Barone (West Virginia University) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one stolen base. Matt Gonsalves (Fresno State University) went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Evan Bottone (University of Akron) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles. Jack Potteiger (Eastern Illinois University) earned his second win of the season throwing three innings with six strikeouts allowing one hit, zero walks, and zero runs.

Eau Claire 10, Willmar 4

The Eau Claire Express used four long balls and scored seven innings in the seventh to help take down the Willmar Stingers 10-4. Jake Busson (Iowa Central Community College) went 1-for-3 with a grand slam in the seventh. Brigs Richartz (University of St. Thomas) went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs. Ragan Pinnow (Augustana University) went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run. Owen Washburn (Texas Tech University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a double, one stolen base, and two RBI. Colin Hynek (Georgia State University) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Andrew Sojka (California State University Northridge) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run. Zacary Tenn (University of Hawaii) earned the win throwing two innings with one strikeout allowing two hits, one walk, and one run.

Waterloo 16, Rochester 6

The Waterloo Bucks use a monster eight-run fourth inning to take down the Rochester Honkers. Larry Edwards (Oklahoma College-Tonkawa) went 3-for-5 scoring twice with a two-run double in the fourth and a two-run single in the fifth and two stolen bases. Luke Finn (University of Texas-Dallas) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with a double three RBI and one stolen base. Evan Morrison (McPherson College) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with three stolen bases. Lucas Moore (University of Louisville) went 4-for-6 scoring twice with one RBI. Augusto Mungarrieta Lorenzo (Rochester Community and Technical College) went 1-for-5 scoring once with three RBI and one stolen base. Brendon Carter (Oklahoma College-Tonkawa) earned the win throwing 1.2 innings with one strikeout allowing three hits, one earned run, and zero walks.

St. Cloud 13, Minot 3

The St. Cloud Rox scored eight runs in the eighth to defeat the Minot Hot Tots 13-3. Francesco Barbieri (Ave Maria University) was perfect at the plate going 1-for-1 with a two-run triple in the eighth. Kaden Amundson (Nicholls State University) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with three RBI and one stolen base. Sawyer Smith (St. Cloud State University) went 3-for-4 scoring three times with five stolen bases and two RBI. Jeaden Jordahl (University of Charleston) went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Brandon Jaenke (Viterbo University) earned the win throwing two innings with three strikeouts allowing two hits, one earned run, and one walk.
