The Royal Oak leprechauns take down the Green Bay Rockers 4-1 in tonight’s matchup. Michael Lareau (Belmont University) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Ryan Mckay (Michigan State University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with a double, one RBI, and one stolen base. Lane Allen (Blinn College) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one stolen base. Alejandro Espinoza (California State University Dominguez Hills) earned the win throwing seven scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing six hits and zero walks.
Battle Creek 3, Kokomo 1
The Battle Creek Battle Jacks score two in the eighth to beat the Kokomo Jackrabbits 3-1. Jacob Brown (College of Charleston) went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) went 1-for-3 scoring twice. Nolan Christianson (Dordt University) went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jack Messmore (Delaware State University) earned the win throwing one scoreless inning with one strikeout allowing two hits and one walk.
Traverse City 7, Kalamazoo 3
The Traverse City Pit Spitters scored four in the fifth to help defeat the Kalamazoo Growlers 7-3. Brett Rozman (Central Arizona College) went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Carter Hain (Oakland University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with a double and one RBI. Joey Winters (Ottawa University Arizona) went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Colin Blanchard (University of Washington) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with a double. Jagger Neely (East Texas Baptist University) earned the win throwing six innings with seven strikeouts allowing nine hits, two runs, and zero walks.
Wausau 5, Thunder Bay 3
The Wausau Woodchucks score three in the ninth to take the lead and down the Thunder Bay Border Cats 5-3. Max Galvin (Oklahoma State University) went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one stolen base. Logan Kreske (Wichita State University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one stolen base. Kyle Morrison (Shelton State Community College (AL)) went 1-for-5 with an RBI double. The Willmar Stingers came out hot in the first scoring five runs and built on that momentum scoring ten more runs to help beat the Bismarck Larks 15-9.
