Tuesday’s Northwoods League slate featured 11 games, including 1 thrilling walk off win for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. Wausau extends their lead to eight, Manager Corey Thompson gets his 100th victory as a Woodchuck.

Kenosha 8, Kalamazoo 7

The Kenosha Kingfish came out hot in the first scoring four runs to help take down the Kalamazoo Growlers 8-7. Eli Duncan (University of North Carolina Charlotte) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a pair of doubles and collecting two RBI. Karter Wong (California State University Northridge) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two doubles and two RBI. Nate Mieszkowski (Missouri Southern State University) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Xavier Delgado (Barry University) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with a home run collecting three RBI. Mike Sprockett (University of Akron) went 1-for-4 with a home run collecting two RBI. Tanner Johnson (Triton College) earned the win throwing 4.2 innings with three strikeouts allowing six walks, three earned runs, and two hits.

Royal Oak 5, Traverse City 4

The Royal Oak Leprechauns take down the Traverse City Pit Pitters 5-4 in tonight’s tight matchup. Parker Picot (University of Alabama) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Nate Ball (Eastern Michigan University) went 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI. Aaron Piasecki (Kellogg Community College) went 3-for-5 scoring once with a double and one stolen base. Michael Tchavdarov (Davenport University) went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI. David Lally (Transfer Portal) earned the win throwing five innings with four strikeouts allowing six hits, three earned runs, and two walks.

St. Cloud 6, Bismarck 0

The St. Cloud Rox shut out the Bismarck Larks defeating them 6-0. Jake Perry (University of Minnesota) went 3-for-5 with a double, collecting two RBI. Tyler Bishop (University Nebraska Omaha) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a double and one RBI. Sawyer Smith (University of Kansas) went 1-for-3 scoring three times with one stolen base. Dallin Harrison (University of San Diego) earned the win throwing three scoreless innings with one strikeout allowing one walk and zero hits.

Wisconsin Rapids 8, Battle Creek 6

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters score five in the fourth to help take down the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 8-6. Trotter Boston (Tabor College) went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Cashel Dugger (University of California Los Angeles) went 2-for-3 scoring once with two RBI. Mason Onate (Tulane University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases. Jack Wiessinger (Pomona-Pitzer) earned the win throwing one inning allowing three hits, two earned runs, and one walk.

Rochester 13, Duluth 3

The Rochester Honkers use a monster third inning scoring seven runs to defeat the Duluth Huskies 13-3. Reiss Calvin (Univeristy of California Santa Barbara) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with three-run home run and an RBI single. Dean Carpentier (University of Southern California) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run. Luca Dipaolo (University of Southern California) was perfect at the plate going 1-for-1 scoring four times with a solo home run. Charlie Sutherland (University of Minnesota) went 2-for-2 with two RBI. Sam George (East Tennessee State University) earned the win throwing five scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing five hits and one walk.

Rockford 18, Kokomo 8

The Rockford Rivets ran up the score tonight beating the Kokomo Jackrabbits 18-8. Maddox Mihalakis (University of Arizona) went 3-for-5 scoring twice with a double and two RBI. Logan Mock (University of Southern Indiana) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with two RBI. Kyle Schupmann (University of Cincinnati) went 2-for-5 scoring once with two RBI and one stolen base. J.J. Dutton (Indian Hills Community College) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a solo home run and one stolen base. Landen Southern (Anderson University) earned the win throwing five innings with five strikeouts allowing five hits, four walks, and two earned runs.

Wausau 9, Lakeshore 1

The Wausau Woodchucks defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks 9-1 in tonight’s matchup. Isaac Webb (Texas AandM University-Corpus Christi) went 2-for-5 scoring two runs with an RBI double, a solo home run, and two stolen bases. Kam Durnin (Wichita State University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases. Jake Berkland (Minnesota State University Mankato) went 2-for-3 scoring once with two RBI and one stolen base. Tyler Smith (University of South Alabama) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing two walks and two hits. 

La Crosse 12, Eau Claire 9

The La Crosse Loggers score seven in the seventh to to help take down the Eau Claire Express 12-9. Luke Anderson (BYU) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a double collecting four RBI. Case Sanderson (University of Nebraska) went 3-for-6 scoring twice with a double and two RBI. Matthew Miura (University of Hawaii) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of doubles, one RBI, and one stolen base. Brigs Richartz (University of St. Thomas) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a double, a home run collecting three RBI. Dylan Knowles (California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly)) went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI. Gabe Richardson (University of Minnesota-Duluth) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Kaden Taque (University of Californa Berkeley) earned the win throwing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing one walk and zero hits.

Willmar 13, Minot 11

The Willmar Stingers use a monster fourth inning scoring nine runs to defeat the Minot Hot Tots 13-11. Andrew Sojka (California State University Northridge) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with a double, a three-run home run, and one stolen base. Nico Senese (Georgia Tech) went 3-for-5 scoring once with three RBI. Trevor Winterstein (Augustana University) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with a triple and two RBI. Sam Holthaus (St. Cloud Technical and Community College) went 1-for-2 scoring once with a double and collecting three RBI. Tristan Moore (University of Houston) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a a pair of doubles. Ian Koosman (Paradise Valley Community College) earned the win throwing three innings with five strikeouts allowing five hits, four earned runs, and two walks.

Fond du Lac 9, Green Bay 8

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders walk it off taking down the Green Bay Rockers 9-8. Cal Mcginnis (University of Evansville) went 1-for-4 with a two-run double. Caden Shapiro (Princeton University) went 3-for-5 scoring once with three RBI, including the winning RBI single. Seth Ferni (University of Mississippi) went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Zach Silfies (Elizabethtown College) earned the win throwing two innings with two strikeouts allowing two walks, one hit, and one run.

Badlands 7, Mankato 3

The Badlands Big Sticks defeat the Mankato MoonDogs 7-3 in toingiht’s matchup. Tyler Tobey (Metro State University of Denver) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Troy Berg (Iowa Central Community College) went 1-for-4 with a double and one RBI and one stolen base. Adam Haber (Wofford College) went 1-for-5 with two RBI. Nico Libed (University of San Diego) went 2-for-4 scoring one with a double, two RBI, and one stolen base. Landon Kiefer (Albany State University) earned the win throwing five innings with eight strikeouts allowing nine hits, two earned runs, and one walk.
