Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a double. Cayden Wotipka ( Lower Columbia) went 1-for-4 scoring once with an RBI double. Riley Frost (University of North Georgia) went 1-for-2 with a two-run double. Shane Tucker ( Long Island University – Brooklyn) threw a solid three innings with nine strikeouts, allowing three hits, two runs, and zero walks. Adrian Rubio (Eastern New Mexico University) earned the win throwing two scoreless innings with five strikeouts having only faced six batters allowing zero hits and zero walks.
Madison 7, Traverse City 1
The Madison Mallards dominate the Traverse City Pit Spitters 7-1 in tonight’s matchup. Shai Robinson (Illinois State University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two RBI and one stolen base.
