Tuesday’s Northwoods League slate featured a doubleheader between the La Crosse Steam and the Minot Honeybees.

La Crosse 7, Minot 3

The La Crosse Steam scores four runs in the sixth to help take down the Minot Honeybees 7-3. Ashley Wolfe (transfer portal) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Rachel Mori (William Peace University) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a double and one RBI. Ashlee Chantos (Winona State University) went 1-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Skyler Dietz (Colorado Christian University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a solo home run. Sydney Farmer (Tyler Junior College) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a pair of doubles and one RBI. Alexis Watson (Viterbo University) earned the win throwing seven innings with four strikeouts allowing seven hits, three runs, and two walks.

La Crosse 3, Minot 1

The La Crosse Steam sweep the Minot Honeybees winning game two 3-1. Avary Makarewicz (Eastern Illinois University) went 1-for-2 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Ashley Wolfe (Transfer Portal) went 1-for-5 scoring once with a double and one stolen base. Dominique Baker (Bismarck State College) went 3-for-3 with one RBI. Caitlyn Dannenfelzer (North Dakota State College of Science) went 1-for-3 scoring once with a double. Mackenzie Willis (Belmont University) earned the win throwing seven innings with seven strikeouts allowing seven hits, three walks, and one run.
