Tuesday’s Northwoods League slate featured 11 games. The La Crosse Loggers walk it off taking down the Duluth Huskies 8-7 in extras.

Wausau 8, Madison 1

The Wausau Woodchucks came out hot scoring five in the first to take down the Madison Mallards 8-1. Colin Bruggemann (Oklahoma State University) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Max Galvin (Oklahoma State University) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a double, one RBI, and one stolen base. Korbyn Dickerson (University of Louisville) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a solo home run. David Morrissey (Eastern Florida State College) earned the win throwing 1.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts allowing four hits and one walk.

Thunder Bay 7, Rochester 6

The Thunder Bay Border Cats used a six-run fifth inning to defeat the Rochester Honkers 7-6. Jackson Cooke (University of Tennessee at Martin) was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 scoring twice with two RBI. Ty Brooks (University of South Alabama) went 1-for-3 with a triple and one RBI. Keegan Garris (Indiana State University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two RBI. Andrew Cain (University of Arizona) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a three-run home run. Nick Veselinovic (Niagara University (NY)) earned the win throwing two scoreless innings with two strikeouts allowing two walks and one hit.

Rockford 8, Royal Oak 3

The Rockford Rivets scored four in the second to help beat the Royal Oak Leprechauns 8-3. Bobby Atkinson (Bradley University) went 4-for-5 scoring once with a two-run home run. Maddox Mihalakis (University of Arizona) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a double and two RBI. Colin Overholt (Ashland University) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a triple and one stolen base. Noah Walthen (Indiana Wesleyan University) earned the win throwing five scoreless innings with three strikeouts allowing three walks and two hits.

Wisconsin Rapids 8, Battle Creek 2

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters take down the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 8-2. Landon Gaz (University of California Irvine) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with a pair of doubles and one RBI. Kyler Mcintosh (Alabama State University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Cashel Dugger (University of California Los Angeles) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a double and one RBI. Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Maddox Thornton (Texas AandM University-Corpus Christi) earned the win throwing six innings with two strikeouts allowing six hits and two runs.

Kenosha 6, Traverse City 1

The Kenosha Kingfish collected ten hits to secure a 6-1 victory over the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Michael Perazza (West Virginia University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Christopher Schuchart (Davidson College) went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Aaron Piasecki (Central Michigan University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Brody Krzysiak (Oakland University) earned the win throwing six innings with one strikeout allowing five hits, two walks, and one run.

St. Cloud 11, Badlands 1

The St. Cloud Rox ran up the score on the Badlands Big Sticks beating them 11-1. Ben Higdon (University of Southern Mississippi) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a two-run home run and a solo home run. Tyler Bishop (University of Nebraska Omaha) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Jackson Beaman (University of Kansas) went 1-for-1 with a solo home run. Jaixen Frost (University of Iowa) went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one stolen base. Camden Kaufman (New Mexico State University) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with a double, a triple, and one stolen base. Hunter Day (Missouri State University) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with four strikeouts allowing four hits and three walks.

Mankato 7, Minot 1

The Mankato MoonDogs beat the Minot Hots Tots 7-1 in tonight’s matchup. Jake Duer (Texas Christian University) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a double and three RBI. Brody Delamielleure (Florida State University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two RBI and two stolen bases. Matthew Fleischhacker (Minnesota State University Mankato) went 1-for-5 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Joe Skapinetz (Lafayette College) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with six strikeouts allowing three hits and three walks.

Waterloo 8, Eau Claire 3

The Waterloo Bucks take down the Eau Claire Express 8-3. Marcus Heusohn (University of Illinois at Chicago) went 2-for-5 scoring once with two RBI. Lucas Moore (University of Louisville) went 2-for-5 with one RBI. Brigs Richartz (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with one RBI. Kevin Jaxel (University of Virginia) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with ten strikeouts allowing four hits and three walks.

Willmar 6, Bismarck 5

The Willmar Stingers beat the Bismarck Larks 6-5 in tonight’s thriller extra-inning matchup. Dariel Osoria (University of Kansas) went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Nico Senese (Georgia Southern) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two RBI. Casey Murray Jr. (California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly)) went 2-for-5 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Noah Leib (Denison University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Green Bay 19, Fond du Lac 7

The Green Bay Rockers ran up the score and collected twenty hits to take down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 19-7. Makani Tanaka (Saddleback College) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a triple and four RBI. Mulivai Levu (UCLA) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of doubles and one RBI. Mateo Matthews (Wagner College) went 3-for-5 scoring four times with a double, one stolen base, and two RBI. Nick Harms (Case Western Reserve University) was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 scoring three times with two RBI and two stolen bases. Jake Bold (Princeton University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a solo home run. Connor Nolen (Carroll University) earned the win throwing 3.2 scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing two hits and one walk.

Nolan Barry (Illinois State University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one RBI and two stolen bases. Tyler Palmer (University Nebraska Omaha) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and two stolen bases. Tyler Gebb (Long Beach State) earned the win throwing one scoreless innings allowing zero hits or walks.
