The Mankato Habaneros came out hot scoring four runs in the first to take down the La Crosse Steam 6-3. Emma Lee (Trine University) started the rally and went 1-for-3 scoring once with an RBI triple. Lee was named the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night finishing with one run scored and one RBI.
