The Madison Night Mares came out hot in the first scoring three runs to help beat the La Crosse Steam 5-1. Kayla Thomas (Campbell University) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin-Madison) went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one stolen base. Rylee Rogers (Madison College) went 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI. Rachel Mori (William Peace University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Karlie Mckenzie (Eastern Illinois University) earned the win throwing seven innings with five strikeouts allowing seven hits, four walks, and one run.

La Crosse 2, Madison 1

The La Crosse Steam come in clutch scoring a run in the seventh to take down the Madison Night Mares 2-1. Avary Makarewicz (Eastern Illinois University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and one stolen base. Brooke Steinhorst (Madison College) went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Carly Oliver (University of the Cumberlands) went 1-for-3 with a double. Mackenzie Willis (Belmont University) earned the win throwing seven innings with four strikeouts allowing six hits, five walks, and one run.
