Thursday’s Northwoods League slate featured game three of the series between the #1 Mankato Hebaneros and the #4 Minot Honeybees.

The Mankato Habaneros top the Minot Honeybees 3-1 in tonight’s matchup to secure the series sweep. Madelyn Birling (Bryant and Stratton College) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a triple and one RBI. Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University, Mankato) went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Paige Zender (Iowa State University) went 1-for-3 with a double. Grace Leitheiser went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Sydney Farmer (Tyler Junior College) went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Trinity Gregg went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Jenna Sprague (Washburn University) earned the win throwing seven innings with one strikeout allowing six hits, zero earned runs, and zero walks.
