Sunday’s Northwoods League slate featured game 3 of the series between the #2 Madison Night Mares and the #4 Minot Honeybees.

Madison 18, Minot 4

The Madison Night Mares Run Rule the Minot Honeybees 18-4 to sweep the away series. Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) had a day at the plate going 3-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of two-run doubles. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a two-run triple and an RBI double. Tia Durst (Lake Land) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with three RBI. Haley Remington (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 3-for-5 scoring once with two RBI. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 1-for-2 scoring once with a two-run home run. Kendall Weik (Madison College) earned the win throwing five innings with three strikeouts allowing six hits, three earned runs, and two walks.
