Feduccia is the 363rd former Northwoods League player to debut in MLB
Rochester, Minn. – Former Rockford Rivet Hunter Feduccia made his Major League debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Feduccia is the 363rd former Northwoods League player to reach the Major League level.
Feduccia, who played collegiately at Louisiana State University, played for the Rockford Rivets in 2017. He was drafted in the 12th round of the 2018 MLB draft by the Dodgers.
In 2017 with the Rivets, Feduccia played in 46 games and hit .348 with eight home runs, 18 doubles and 43 runs scored. He drove in 41 and walked 22 times.
Feduccia started his professional career in 2018 with the Ogden Raptors of the Rookie level Pioneer League. After three games he was sent to the Great Lakes Loons of the Lo-A Midwest League. In 34 games between the two clubs, he hit .287 with six doubles, 10 RBI, and eight runs scored.
In 2019 Feduccia started the season with the Loons and then was promoted to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the Hi-A California League. In a combined 72 games he hit .275 with four home runs, two triples and 18 doubles. He stole two bases, scored 42 times, and drove in 43.
Feduccia spent the 2021 season with the Tulsa Drillers of the Double-A Central League. He played in 86 games and hit .254 with 10 home runs, nine doubles, and one triple. He drove in 45 and walked 39 times.
The 2022 season saw Feduccia began the year with Tulsa and then move up to the Oklahoma City Dodgers of the AAA Pacific Coast League. In 83 games he hit .238 with 15 home runs, 51 RBI, and 20 doubles.
Feduccia was in Oklahoma City in 2023 where he played in 90 games and hit .279 with 11 home runs, two triples, and 18 doubles. He drove in 57, walked 58 times and had 61 runs scored.
Prior to his callup to the Dodgers, Feduccia had appeared in 64 games in Oklahoma City and had five home runs, 14 doubles, and 42 RBI while hitting .295. In his Major League debut against the San Diego Padres, Feduccia entered the game as a pinch hitter and went 0 for 1 at the plate.
