The Kalamazoo Growlers pulled through with the win beating the Traverse City Pit Spitters 3-2. Tanner Ware (Oakland University) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with five strikeouts allowing three hits and three walks. Ware earned the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award.
