Kalamazoo 9, Lakeshore 1
The Kalamazoo Growlers take game one of their home series opener, defeating the Lakeshore Chinooks 9-1. Trevor Johnson (Duke University) had himself a day going 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a two-run double, and one stolen base. Micah Rienstra-Kiracofe (Kent State University) stays red-hot, going 4-for-5, racking up a 4-for-5 day, with three doubles, two RBIs, and a stolen base. Brodey Acres (Walsh University) came out kicking, going 2-for-4, scoring three times and recording a triple, a double, and two RBIs. Jeremiah Holder (Lafayette College) earned the win, throwing a solid six innings with three strikeouts, allowing five hits, and a run.
Thunder Bay 14, Rochester 9
The Thunder Bay Border Cats jumped out early, scoring in six straight innings, to take down the Rochester Honkers 14-9. Trae Cassidy (Ohio University) was perfect in today’s outing, going 5-for-5, scoring five times, recording a double, two RBI, and four stolen bases. Kael Babin (University of Nebraska Omaha) also had a perfect record at the plate today, going 2-for-2, scoring twice, and tallying one RBI and one stolen base. Corey Morro (U of Science & Arts of Oklahoma) went 1-for-3 scoring twice and racking up three RBI. Keegan Landis (Colorado Mesa University) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base. John McDonald (Creighton University (NE)) earned the win, throwing 1.2 solid innings with one strikeout, allowing two hits and one run. Makaio Cisneros (Pensacola State College, FL) had quite the start, throwing four scoreless innings, tallying seven strikeouts, and giving up only three hits and one walk.
Battle Creek 8, Kenosha 5
The Battle Creek Battle Jacks came out hot, scoring three in the first frame to beat the Kenosha Kingfish 8-5. Joshua Algarin (Walsh University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run double, plated once, and recorded one stolen base. Halen Otte (Whitman College) went 1-for-3 with an RBI double and scored once. Caleb Estrada (Grand Valley State University) went 2-for-4, scoring twice and collecting one stolen base. Aidan Camberg (Santa Barbara City CC) went 2-for-4, recording two RBIs and one stolen base. Dutch Deprospero (Towson University) earned the win with a strong start, throwing six scoreless innings with five strikeouts and giving only one hit and two walks.
Royal Oak 4, Traverse City 3

Devan Zirwas (Eastern Michigan University) and Jack Dauer (Michigan State University) both got it going for the Leprechauns with back-to-back RBI doubles to tie up the ball game. Zirwas went 2-for-4 on the day, scoring once with one RBI. Dauer went 1-for-,3 scoring twice with one RBI. Issac Sturgess (Michigan State University) went 1-for-3, scoring once, recording an extra-base hit, and one RBI. Colton Jones (Florida Gulf Coast University) earned the win, throwing three innings with one strikeout and allowing two hits, two walks, and one run. Chase Van Ameyde (University of Notre Dame) got the save, closing out the last inning, giving up no runs or hits.
Duluth 7, Waterloo 1
The Duluth Huskies dominated the Waterloo Bucks 7-1, taking game one of the series. John DiGregorio (Wisconsin – Eau Claire) went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI double and tallied another RBI and scored once. Jackson Rains (Arkansas-Little Rock) went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and scored one. Reagan Reeder (University of Illinois) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and scored once. Larry Edwards ( McNeese State University) went 1-for-3, scoring once and recording three stolen bases. Tanner Foertsch (University of Nebraska Omaha) earned the win, throwing five solid innings with four strikeouts and allowing four hits and one run.
La Crosse 4, Eau Claire 3
The La Crosse Loggers take it to extras and pull through with a 4-3 victory over the Eau Claire Express. Mateo Gray (University of Central Florida) was seeing the ball today at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, scoring twice, and drawing three walks. Aaron Mingo (Long Beach City CC) went 2-for-5 with an RBI single in the tenth to put the Loggers ahead. Ian Guanzon (San Joaquin Delta (CA) CC) went 1-for-3, scoring once and recording a double and one RBI. Bobby McDonough (University of Massachusetts) earned the win, throwing 2.2 innings with two strikeouts, allowing two hits and one run. Luispablo Navarro (Pima CC) had a standout starting outing, throwing 6.1 innings, collecting eight strikeouts, giving up only three hits, three walks, and two runs.
Badlands 11, Mankato 6
The Badlands Big Sticks chipped away, racking up 11 runs on 11 hits, defeating the Mankato MoonDogs 11-6. Jayden Sanchez (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) went 3-for-5, including a two-run double, tallied a total of three RBI, and scored once. Connor Massimini (East Texas Baptist University) went 2-for-4, scoring once with three RBI and one stolen base. Coy Defury (Texas State University) went 3-for-6 with two RBI. Cooper Neville (Iowa Western CC) went 2-for-4, scoring once, recording a double, and two RBI. Michael Carrano Jr. (Parkland CC) went 2-for-3, scoring once, recording a double, one RBI, and one stolen base. Joe O’Regan (Chaffey CC) earned the win, throwing four innings with three strikeouts and allowing five hits, two runs, and three walks.
Rockford 11, Green Bay 8
The Rockford Rivets use a six-run fourth inning to help secure the 11-8 win over the Green Bay Rockers. Jackson Forbes (University of Arizona) and Tate Shimao (University of Hawaii) go back-to-back in home runs in the second inning. Forbes went 1-for-4 on the day with a two-run bomb and scored twice. Shimao went 1-for-4 with a solo shot, tallying two RBI and scoring twice. Adison Worthman (Parkland CC) went 1-for-4 with a double, recording two RBI and scoring twice. Diego Urreta (Fairleigh Dickinson University) went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI, and one stolen base. Max Humphrey (Kent State University) went 1-for-3, scoring twice with a double and one RBI. Alexander Llinas (Nova Southeastern University) earned the win, throwing 2.2 innings with two strikeouts, allowing five hits, three runs, and three walks. Wisconsin Rapids 13, Wausau 11
The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters broke it open in the first frame, scoring five runs to build momentum in tonight’s slugfest, where they topped the Wausau Woodchucks 13-11. Noah Ruiz (Biola University) had himself a day, going 2-for-5, knocking out a three-run home run, tallying five RBI, and scoring twice. Luke Skinner (Loyola Marymount University) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and scored twice. Jack Guerrero (James Madison University) went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run. Royce Clayton Jr. (Cal State Northridge) went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, scoring three times, and recording one stolen base. Jake Weatherspoon (Indian River State CC) went 1-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Dylan Schlotterback (Paris JC) went 2-for-4, scoring twice, tallying two RBIs, and stealing two bases. The Willmar Stingers ran up the score, taking down the Minot Hot Tots 14-7. The St. Cloud Rox come back and use a six-run sixth inning to dominate the Bismarck Larks 12-3. Grant Sommers (University of Nebraska Omaha) was a key contributor in the monster inning, going 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and racking up five RBI on the day. Austin Haley (Kansas State) went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double, scoring three times. Cayden Gaskins (University of South Carolina) went 1-for-2, scoring twice with one RBI and one stolen base. Erick Dessens (Paradise Valley CC) went 3-for-5, scoring once with one RBI. John Hughes (University of North Carolina) earned the win, throwing four scoreless innings with two strikeouts, allowing just one hit. Carter Mick (University of Nebraska Omaha) had a solid outing as well, throwing three scoreless innings with five strikeouts and allowing one hit.
