Royal Oak 9, Kenosha 6

The Royal Oak Leprechauns come back in the eighth, scoring four runs to beat the Kenosha Kingfish 9-6 and get their fourth win in a row. Chase Van Ameyde (University of Notre Dame) went 1-for-2, scoring once, drawing three walks, and recording two RBIs. Ryan Tyranski (University of Cincinnati) went 2-for-4, scoring twice with one RBI. Dayton Murphy (Michigan State University) went 1-for-4, scoring once with two RBIs. Tristan Crane (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) shut it down, earning the win by throwing 1.2 scoreless innings, racking up five strikeouts of seven batters faced, and allowing one hit and one walk. 

Waterloo 14, Mankato 1

The Waterloo Bucks exploded for 14 runs on 13 hits to dominate the Mankato MoonDogs 14-1. Marcus Heusohn (McNeese State University) had a day at the plate going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, recording two runs and one RBI. Ethan Rossi (Eastern Illinois University) went 2-for-5, scoring twice with two RBIs and one stolen base. Larry Edwards (McNeese State University) went 2-for-5 with a double and recorded two runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Parker Sweeney (Virginia Tech) went 3-for-4, including a double, and recorded a run and one RBI. Mack Brousseau (McNeese State University) went 1-for-4 with a two-run double and scored once. Brody Leyboldt (Iowa Western CC) earned the win, throwing five scoreless innings with four strikeouts, allowing two hits and two walks.

Eau Claire 15, Duluth 6

The Eau Claire Express delivered an offensive showcase, racking up 20 hits to rout the Duluth Huskies 15-6. After taking an early lead in the second, the Express poured on the runs in the middle innings, including scoring five in the sixth. McGwire Turner (University of Montevallo) was an RBI machine at the plate today, going 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and racking up five RBI and scoring twice. Joey Flom (University of Minnesota-Duluth) tallied another five RBIs of his own, going 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles and scoring three times. Trett Joles (Concordia University-St Paul) was perfect on the day, going 3-for-3 and scoring three times. Nick Mascaro (Cal State Bakersfield) went 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Adam Salazar (Cal State Bakersfield) went 4-for-5, scoring twice with one RBI. Easton Bobb (University of St. Thomas) earned the win, throwing six innings with three strikeouts, allowing three hits, one earned run, and one walk.

Green Bay 6, Wausau 4

The Green Bay Rockers rallied late to defeat the Wausau Woodchucks 6-4. Max Humphrey (Kent State University) went 1-for-3 with a solo shot, recorded two runs, and one stolen base. Parker Martin (University of Southern Indiana) went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Cooper Smith (University of Oklahoma) went 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Christian Smith-Johnson (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) went 1-for-2, drawing two walks and collecting two stolen bases. Koshiro Ohno (Seward County CC) earned the win, throwing three scoreless no-hit innings with three strikeouts and allowing three walks. Aiden Ewe (Barry University) got the save with one scoreless no-hit inning with one strikeout, allowing two walks.

Fond du Lac 5, Lakeshore 2

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders used a three-run fifth inning to top the Lakeshore Chinooks, defeating them 5-2. Jarren Sanderson (Cal State Northridge) and Patrick Graham (Penn State University) were the sparks in the lineup. Sanderson went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and recorded three RBIs and one stolen base. Graham went 3-for-4, including a two-run double and scoring once. Drew Reynolds (University of Maine) went 1-for-3 with a double, tallying one run and one RBI. Austin Kutz (Canisius College) earned the win, throwing five innings with three strikeouts, allowing six hits and two runs. Zak White (Saint Mary’s College) got the save, throwing one inning with one strikeout, giving up one walk.

Battle Creek 5, Madison 4

The Battle Jacks held off the Mallards’ comeback, plating the game-winning run in the top of the 11th, sealing the extra-innings 5-4 win. Ryan Skjonsby (Washington State University) knocked in the go-ahead run with a single to left field, going 1-for-4 and scoring once. Charlie Berry (Truman State University) went 1-for-4 with a two-run double. Albert Jennings (Bushnell) went 1-for-2, scoring once, drawing three walks, and tallying one RBI. Jordy Lopez (University of California, Berkeley) went 2-for-5, scoring once with one RBI and two stolen bases. Dominic Jacoby (Harper College) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Ayden Benson (Fort Scott CC) earned the win, throwing two perfect innings with two strikeouts. Jacob Whiteman (Towson University) got the save, shutting down the last inning with one strikeout, giving up one walk and no runs or hits.

Willmar 15, Minot 14

The Willmar Stingers exploded early with a seven-run third inning and a five-run fourth, holding off a late comeback from the Minot Hot Tots to win a wild one, 15-14. Jameson Martin (University of Minnesota) had himself a day going 4-for-5, knocking out two home runs, racking up five RBIs, and scoring three times. Jordan Kuhnau (South Dakota State University) went 3-for-6 with a three-run home run. Matthew Pena (Cal State Northridge) went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, drawing three walks and scoring three times. Kobe Eikmeier (Augustana University (MN)) went 3-for-6 with a two-run home run and scored twice. Landon Franklin (Seminole State (FL) CC) went 4-for-6 with a two-run home run and scored twice. Brock Larsen (University of Minnesota-Crookston) went 1-for-5 with a solo home run. Bryce Ronken (South Dakota State University) went 4-for-5 and scored three times. Henry Allen (University of Georgia) went 2-for-4, including a two-run home run, totaling three RBIs on the day. Matt Toomey (Long Beach State University) went 4-for-5, including a triple, and tallied four RBIs and two runs. Christian Stratis (Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa CC) had a perfect pinch-hit outing, going 1-for-1 with a bases-clearing double. Adam Urban (University of Minnesota) earned the win, throwing three innings with three strikeouts, allowing four walks, three hits, and two runs. Nicholas Holbrook (Georgia State University) got the save, throwing 0.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and giving up two walks.

Traverse City 3, Kalamazoo 2

The Traverse City Pit Spitters edged out the Kalamazoo Growlers 3-2 in a tight contest, taking the lead in the sixth and holding on despite a late push from Kalamazoo. Cade Collins (Wofford College) had a clutch outing, going 1-for-3 with a two-run home run to put the Pit Spitters ahead. Isaac Sturgess (Michigan State University) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base. Grady Mee (Western Michigan University) went 2-for-4, scoring once and collecting two stolen bases. Grant Garman (Oakland University) earned the win, throwing six innings with four strikeouts, allowing four hits, two walks, and no earned runs. Mitchell Grannan (Maryville College (TN)) got the save, shutting down the last batter of the game.

St. Cloud 4, Badlands 3

The St. Cloud Rox made the most of limited offense, edging the Badlands Big Sticks 4-3 despite being out-hit 10 to 4. Tanner Recchio (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-4, scoring twice and collecting a stolen base. Tyler Bishop (University of Nebraska Omaha) went 2-for-4 on the day and scored once. Jayden Sanchez (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2, drawing two walks, and scoring twice. Ryan Muizelaar (University of Jamestown) went 2-for-4 with a double and recorded one RBI. Jadyn Roberts (Dickinson State University)went 1-for-4, scoring once and collecting two stolen bases. Hunter Day (Minnesota State University) earned the win, throwing seven innings with four strikeouts, allowing nine hits, three runs, and two walks. Brandon Jaenke (Viterbo University) got the save, throwing one perfect inning, striking out two of three batters faced.

Bismarck 10, La Crosse 5

The Bismarck Larks rode a huge six-run third inning to a 10-5 win over the La Crosse Loggers. Frankie Santiago (University of Kansas) went 2-for-3, including a three-run home run. Ryan Christiansen (Sacramento State University) went 2-for-4 with a two-run double and scored once. Sydney Ward (University of New Mexico) went 1-for-3 with a bases-clearing double. Savion Flowers (Cisco JC) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and scored once. Ryan Costello (Louisiana State University) went 3-for-4, scoring once with one RBI. Mikey Ryan III (Louisiana State University) went 1-for-4 with a double and recorded two runs and three stolen bases. Fernando Diaz (Pontifical Catholic Univ (PR)) earned the win, throwing five strikeouts, allowing four hits, four runs, and four walks.

Rochester 12, Thunder Bay 6

The Rochester Honkers exploded for a six-run eighth inning to seal a 12-6 victory over the Thunder Bay Border Cats. Brandon Contreras (Ventura CC) had a stellar outing, going 3-for-4, including a solo shot and a double, putting up three RBIs and two runs. Allan Camarillo (Azusa Pacific University) went 2-for-3 with a double, scoring twice and recording two RBIs and two stolen bases. Maddox Haley (Southwestern College) went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, tallying two RBI and two runs.  Kennedy Hara (Colorado Mesa University) went 2-for-6, scoring twice with two RBIs and two stolen bases.  Carson Beavers (Iowa Western CC) uses a pinch hit to drive in two runs. Hayden Mullins (Montana State University Billings) earned the win, throwing five solid innings with seven strikeouts, allowing four hits, one run, and one walk.
