In a back-and-forth thriller, the Thunder Bay Border Cats walked it off in the ninth to edge the Duluth Huskies 10-9. Jordan Bach (Southern Illinois University) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, recording three RBIs and one stolen base. Manny Alberto (Three Rivers CC (MO)) had a day at the plate going 4-for-5, scoring three times and stealing four bases. Jeremy Sheffield (Georgetown University (MD)) used a pinch-hit opportunity, going 1-for-1 with two RBIs. Michael Smith (Prairie View A&M University) went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, tallying two RBIs and two runs. Kade Thompson (University of Arizona) went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
