The Traverse City Pit Spitters used a six-run fifth inning to break the game open and held off the Rockford Rivets for an 8-2 victory. Adam Broski (Michigan State University) went 2-for-4, including a two-run double, scoring twice, and stealing one base. Brett Rozman (Central Arizona CC) went 3-for-4, scoring once with one stolen base. Grady Mee (Western Michigan University) went 1-for-4, scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base.
