The Madison Mallards erupted for 18 runs on 12 hits, including a massive eight-run fourth inning, to cruise past the Royal Oak Leprechauns 18-6. Davis Hamilton (North Dakota State University) went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple and a two-run double, recording five RBIs and three runs. Nate Voss (Penn State University) went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, tallying three RBIs and three runs. Jordy Lopez (University of California, Berkeley) went 1-for-2, scoring three times with two RBIs and one stolen base. Dylan Larkins (Georgetown University) went 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once, driving in one run, and stealing one base. Merritt Jay (Harding University) earned the win, throwing 2.1 scoreless no-hit innings with one strikeout.
Badlands 8, Willmar 4
The Badlands Big Sticks used a late offensive surge to outlast the Willmar Stingers 8-4. Zach Gingrich (Texas State University) had a day at the plate going 2-for-3 with two solo home runs and scoring three times. Quade Peters (Eastern Illinois University) went 3-for-5, scoring once, recording a triple, and two RBIs. Coy Defury (Texas State University) went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Kobe Eikmeier (Augustana University (MN)) went 3-for-5, including a double, one run, one RBI, and two stolen bases. Dylan Kerbow (Texas State University) earned the win, throwing two scoreless innings with one strikeout, giving up one hit. Braylen Timmins (Texas State University) had a strong close, throwing the last inning, striking out two of three batters faced, and giving up no hits or runs.
Duluth 9, Eau Claire 7
The Duluth Huskies stormed back with a five-run sixth inning to erase a four-run deficit and defeat the Eau Claire Express 9-7. Noah Furcht (Charlotte University) went 1-for-3 with a bases-clearing triple and scored once. Zan Von Schlegell (University of St. Thomas (MN)) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Ethan Surowiec (University of Mississippi) went 1-for-5 with a solo home run. Ian Guanzon (San Joaquin Delta (CA) CC) went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run. Marcelino Alonso (Madison College) went 2-for-5, scoring twice with three RBIs. Andrew Anthony (University of Hawaii) earned the win, throwing five innings with three strikeouts, allowing five runs, five hits, and three walks. Gilbert Saunders III (St. Bonaventure University) got the save, throwing the final inning, striking out one of three batters faced, giving up no hits or runs.
