Minot 15, La Crosse 10

The Minot Honeybees stunned the La Crosse Steam with a jaw-dropping comeback, erupting with fifteen unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings to win 15-10. Taylor Chillingworth (San Jose State University) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and scored twice. Virginia Mambelli (Florida SouthWestern State CC) with a two-run double, recording three RBIs and and three runs. Reagan Winn (Georgian Court University) went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, collecting two RBIs and two runs. Olivia Hernandez (Purdue Northwest) went 3-for-4 scoring once with three RBIs. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 1-for-2 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one run. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 1-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in two runs. Abbie Stigler (Saint Mary”s University) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with one RBI. Ashleigh Heiderscheit (San Jacinto North CC) earned the win throwing 6.2 innings with one strikeout allowing twelve hits, seven earned runs, and seven walks.

Minot 15, La Crosse 5

The Minot Honeybees walk it off and mercy rule the La Crosse Steam 15-5 to secure the doubleheader sweep. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, recording three RBIs. Cadey Shipman (North Dakota State University) went 2-for-3 scoring three times and recording three RBIs and one stolen base. Olivia Lenzen (Wofford College) was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 scoring four times with a solo home run. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with two RBIs and two stolen bases. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 1-for-2 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Jackie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) earned the win throwing four innings with seven strikeouts allowing five hits, four runs, and three walks.
