Wausau 6, Minot 4

The Wausau Ignite jumped out early and held off the Minot Honeybees 6-4. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and scored twice. Megan McGinnis (Saint Mary’s University (MN)) went 2-for-2, scoring once. Bella Cimino (Florida Atlantic University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run double. Carly Cummings (San Jose State University) went 2-for-3, scoring twice with one stolen base. Riley Stiles (Lake Forest College) earned the win, throwing four innings with one strikeout, allowing three hits, three runs, and two walks. Elllie Curtis (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) got the save, throwing three innings with one strikeout and giving up four hits, one run, and a walk.

Mankato 14, La Crosse 4

The Mankato Habaneros exploded for 14 runs on 13 hits to dominate the La Crosse Steam 14-4. Paige Zender (Iowa State) went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a double, recording two RBIs and two runs scored. Whitley Wischmeier (Indiana State University) went 2-for-3 with a two-run double, tallying three RBIs. Indigo Fish (Winona State University) went 1-for-3, scoring three times with two RBIs and one stolen base. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run. Skyler Dietz (Fort Lewis College) went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, one run scored, and one stolen base. Sami Potvin (Iowa State University) earned the win, throwing three innings with three strikeouts allowing nine hits, three runs, and two walks.
