The Mankato Habaneros jumped out early with eight runs in the first, and mercy ruled the Madison Night Mares 11-1. Alexis Michon (Trine University) went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and a double, recording four RBIs and one run scored. Paige Zender (Iowa State) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, driving in two runs, and scoring twice. Skylinn Pogue (University of Iowa) went 1-for-2 with a double, recording two RBIs and one run scored. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Sailor Hall (Pittsburgh State University) earned the win, throwing five innings with one strikeout, allowing four hits and one run.
